The ISO Certification Agency (ICA) is a 'not-for-profit' company 'Limited by Guarantee'. The ICA is unique in being the only 'not-for-profit' ISO certification body.

The Agency's sole purpose is to facilitate the increased take-up of ISO Standards by SMEs (Small to Medium sized Enterprises i.e. those businesses with less than 250 staff), with subsidized Free ISO Certification.

Freecert backing New Government Initiative for SMEs
Freecert ISO Scheme supports the Government's new 'Backing Small Business' initiatives. With Freecert, SMEs can now better qualify for and win new contracts from the Government's annual procurement budget of £236 Billion.

The Government is aiming for SMEs to win 20% of its procurement contracts within 5 years!

The ICA offers free ISO certification against these four key ISO Management System Standards:

• ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
• ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems
• OHSAS 18001 Health & Safety Management Systems

Subsidised ISO Certifications
ICA customers receive subsidised use of the APSS Scheme Management System documentation to either develop their own management systems or directly use the APSS Scheme Management System documentation to gain 'fast-track' certification.
